Once a quarter we celebrate each other with a buffet meal prepared by Chef Kathleen and sitting down together in family dialogue to share that meal together. We are a wonderful spiritual family following our Christ path back to the Father’s House as described in the parable of the prodigal son.
Jesus tells us that where two or more are gathered together, there the Christ is also. We are created to be in dialogue with each other. We are all part of one human family and really learning from each other as we interact in open, heart-based conversation and get to know and at least understand each other. It is not necessary to agree with each other, just take the time to honor each other as an expression of divinity that we each are.
Open dialogue occurs when we take the time to ask questions and then listen with an open heart. That is the purpose of our Celebration Sunday buffet. Just family getting to know each other and enjoying stretching a little bit out of our comfort zones to appreciate another human being. It is amazing what we might find out about ourselves and other family members.
