Christmas is a Celebration of the Christ Light

Yes, the celebration we call Christmas is a celebration of the birth of Jesus the Christ.  It is also a time of family, love, remembrance and honoring the Christ that is within all of us.  The word Christ, as we understand it today, is a reference to that place within each of us where our own spark of divinity resides.  That connection with the universe that we are here to develop, nurture and express as our own Christ Self.

Jesus developed His Christ Self into His child of God radiance and then shared His teachings with the world through the stories, parables, miracles and teachings in the New Testament and then said in the book of John, these things I do you shall do also when you follow my teachings.

Christmas is a reminder of this glorious promise of what our potential is as a human being.  It is time to see the Christ in each other, honor and develop the Christ that we are and leave the struggle and suffering behind us that has been programmed into us by the world we grew up in.

We are loved and nurtured by the Holy Spirit.  We celebrate the Christ that is born in us as we study, pray, meditate and develop the spark of divinity that is waiting to be embraced.

I Love you...

P.S.  Randy Koehler will be doing the service this Sunday morning.  I have been diagnosed with a bacterial infection that requires me to stay at home.
