Paul says in his second letter to Timothy (written from prison) “I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you….For God has not given us the spirit of fear but of power and love and good discipline”. A wonderful reminder that we are expressing the Christ Self in all our comings and goings and no matter how things look in the material world, God’s perfect pattern is at work in our lives.
We have had calls for prayer this week and we are experiencing deadlines in the sale of our church property. There are also questions about finding our new church home and then starting over in a new location. These are events in the fabric of time that scream for our attention. These are the times to “stir up” the gift of God which is in us: To remember that all is well in God’s Kingdom. To let go and let the Divinity that we are do the work without our intervention.
We acknowledge that there is only One Power and Presence in the Universe. Each of us is that Divine Presence in Its Allness, expressing Itself into our physical world. We are the carriers of God’s love, peace, abundance, health, and the other gifts of Spirit into the material experience through our thoughts, feelings, words, and actions.
We are the power to overcome the ravages of fear, uncertainty and doubt for ourselves and those around us. It is up to us to “stir up the gift of God which is in us” and bring forth the energies of love and discipline into our daily lives.
This is the second step in beginning our spiritual path back to the Father’s House. Understanding that we are conditioned by the effects of fear that hold us back from our true divine presence. These are the subconscious emotions that take us over in dealing with the daily issues of the material world and produce things like doubt, uncertainty, anger, revenge, jealousy, hate, victimhood, judgement, and separation. These are the human energy codes that have kept us from our true place as a child of God.
These are the codes that keep us from learning to live a peaceful, harmonious lifestyle of love and abundance. These are the energies that we identify as counterproductive to the Garden of Eden experience that we seek. These are the beliefs and energies that we can identify and begin to slowly change them to spiritual energies of abundance and joy on our spiritual path back to the Kingdom within.
As we begin to identify each of these beliefs, we can spontaneously let them go and move forward to the natural miracles that take place endlessly and automatically in each of our lives on a daily basis. Changing our thoughts to become more aware of these miracles, and moving forward in a loving, caring way, will produce unexplainable wonderful surprises. Just try it!
